On The Run
Two wild male stallions as they run through frost covered sage brush.
I spent nearly an hour watching these two stallions foraging through the snow for the grass beneath. My wife and I were able to approach them through the deep snow, in such a way that they were accustomed to our presence and entirely relaxed in their morning routine. The rest of the band grazed further off and, ensuring they remained dominate and protective, these two powerful males trotted off to remain close.
